Another week has passed for the contest at Scrapdango and uploaded right before the deadline. It was close but I made it. Here what we had to do in the 2nd week of the contest: This week, we will give you a list of supplies and they will be the only things you can use to create a 12x12 layout, so you will need to have your thinking caps on. 5 Photos – These can be any size you wish to use and any subject 4 Alphas – Please use for different types of fonts or styles. They can all be chipboard or all stickers, but we must clearly see 4 different fonts. 3 Patterned Paper – Could you please list the 3 choosen 12x12 papers (COMPANY AND NAME) in the gallery when you post your layout. Double sided paper counts for 2 papers, if you use both sides. Anything you want to punch out or cut out from your papers is acceptable. 2 Other Products only – This will be the tough one! Whatever you used in your title, does not count towards this part of the challenge. But, this section includes

Today is my son Chris' Birthday. I can believe he is already 12. He is such an amazing little man. Thank you God for giving me such a special boy. I love you!!!!

On Sunday, we were suppose to go to my inlaws but did not go so I scrapped the day away while the kids played and hubby rested. Dixie Pieces is having a crop and now that I am member and not part of the DT- I can participate. It was fun using up my scraps. Here is some stuff I did... Thanks for Looking

First week is done for the Scrapdango Crowned Contest Week 1- This is what we had to do in our first week. we had to create a layout with em bellishment that you make with ribbon and/or fabric --think ribbon/fabric flowers, ruffles, etc. This does not include just a bow out of ribbon--get a little more creative. Next, along with that evening gown, every girl needs some jewels. We want to see either rhinestones or pearls on your layout. Of course, you would never go out in an evening gown without make-up on, so let's see paint, ink, chalk or glimmer mist on your layout. Finally, to complete the look, every girl needs a great pair of heels. We want to see some height (dimension) added to your layout using 3-D tape --give something a lift.
