Origami Flower

Flower Tutorial By Lucy Chesna Supplies: scraps of paper bone folder glue stick pop dot (optional) button Instructions: Cut up your scraps at the dimensions below 4 papers 1 1/2" x 3" 4 papers 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" *The scraps can be the same color or different ones to give a pretty design and no cardstock. It will be hard to do the flower with it. Fold all the papers in half , the long way Open them up then fold all the corners in towards the middle. You need to slightly overlap so there is now gabs.Do this for all of the the scrap pieces. Use glue and put on the sides before you fold those in, meeting in the middle. Repeat the steps to make all 8 pieces the same Assembling of the flower: Glue them on top of each other shown below And then glue the two layers on top of each other. I added a pop dot in the middle to give dimension for the flower then I glued down button to the center and then bend all the "pedals" up. Now you can take the flower and add to a car

Origami Wreath

Origami Wreath by Lucy Chesna Supplies 12- 3x5 pieces of paper liguid adhesive ribbon hole puncher inking (optional) Directions Cut out 12 pieces of 3x5 pattern paper Fold the 3x5 in half ,then fold it again Open it then tak one side and bring it to the center of the crease like shown here Repeat step on the other side the flip it You want to take one side and fold it to almost in the middle like shown here Repeat on the other side and it will look like this Take the flaps that you just folded; fold again to make it come up to look like a triangle Fold again but make sure the sides that you folded a few times are in and you have a pocket on the other side of the triangle Repeat this steps do all 12 pieces Assembly of the Wreath ** this is the tricky part so you may have to do it a few times before you get the hang of it. Stamping On A Candle

Stamping On A Candle By Lucy Chesna This technique is a great way to transform a plain candle into something dazzling Supplies Plain candle Thin tissue paper Rubber stamps Quick drying ink (dye ink) Scissors Heat gun Directions: Cut the tissue paper to the size that you want for the candle Stamp images onto the tissue paper. At this moment you can color the image(s) Place the image into position on the candle that you desire Now take the heat gun and GENTLY warm the surface of the candle. When the surface glistens the wax is fusing with the image . You can see the image soak into the melted wax, Remember to remove the heat immediately or it will melt too much and start dripping and distort the image on the candle. Check the image to make sure if it has soaked into the surface. If not, reheat the surface gently. If the image tissue paper needs to be pressed down use a spoon but if you use your fingers be very careful. Repeat if needed around the surface of the candle. Note: You can embo

Origami Tree Card Tutorial By Lucy Chesna Supplies •Double sided paper •Trimmer •Bone Folder •Adhesive •Inking (optional) Directions You need to make 4 squares for the tree and each one has to me ½ smaller then the next one Fold them in half then open them up Then you will fold each from corner to corner Pinch and push the 2 sides in like this, then crease it so you have a triangle Then take 2 points and fold it down so it looks like a little arrow When you have them all done then you will tape then to your card. I cut up a scrap of paper to make the truck and start fron the bottom and work up to create the tree. You need to nest them inside of each other.
