Blog Challenge #2-How to remove Header borders

Here is another blog challenge that was posted at Dixie Pieces today Some of us have banners that we have on our blogs but some of them are small and the border lines are seen. Now I dont mind but I really wanted to make it disappear around the header but if I did that them the lines all over the blog would disappear to but I found a way you can do it without changing the borders all over the blog. Its really easy to do How to remove Header borders ** 1. Sign into your Blogger account(your Dashboard). Then click on the LAYOUT tab followed by EDIT HTML to get to the template editor. 2. {Dixie Pieces} Blog Challenge #1- Generate the image signature

For the next few days I will be posting blog challenges at Dixie Pieces and I will be posting the tutorials here. The blog challenges will be about revamping your blog even if you dont know HTML. I was trying to figure out what kind of challenge I can do so I thought of the one thing I wanted to learn how to do and finally did it- an image signature on my posts. I searced google and found out one place that gave me the information I needed. The blog is called Blogger Tips and Tricks and I love it. Whatever you want to do on your blog, this site will help you. Here is a step by step of how to do it. 1. First you want to generate the image signature. You go to My Live Signature and create your image for free without registering. 2. When you are generating the graphic signature you like. You will end up with a graphic signature image. Right-click on the image and select "Save image as" and save it into your computer. Then you have to upload it to the web, You can use the Free

Last weekend we had our MFG In the Spotlight and it was Lost Coast Designs at Scrapbook News and Review I did a class and created a Halloween Treat Tote :) Halloween Treat Tote By Lucy Chesna Supplies: 1 sheet 8 ½ x 11 black cardstock 1 piece 5/8 x 11 black cardstock 1 piece 2 x 6 pattern paper 1 piece 1 x 6 coordinating strip of paper 4 mini brads favorite background stamp- I used Lost Coast Chickenwire Background www.lost-coast-designs.com/backgrounds.html strong adhesive hole punching tool Inking pad (optional) white embossing power embossing stamp pad heating gun Instructions: Make the Box 1.Take your black cardstock and with the 8 ½ side at top score paper 1 ¼ from each side 2.With 11” side at top score paper 4 ½ from each side 3.Cut short score lines Embossing the Box 1.Take the embossing stamp pad and press firmly onto the stamp 2.Start stamping at the edge all the way to end on one side of the box •You can do both sides if you like •You need to overlap the stamp so there is no
