{Sneak Peek} Nov Kit for Scrap n'Supply Shack

The kit for November is called "Legends of the Fall" . Its so beautiful with foil and flock pattern paper and yummy embellishments. You will not be disappointed with this kit. Here is a little sneak peak of my layouts I did with the kit. I will post the kit and my layouts on November 1st.

Tutorial: 6x6 Brag book

I did this tutorial at A Walk Down Memory Lane last month before I left for Disney and I want to post it here you guys. Enjoy and if you make one, post it here. I would love to see it. 1.Take your (2) 12x12 white cardstock and cut them to 6x12 2.Now fold each of them in half to look like 6x6 when folded 3.Take one of the 6x6 and open it; add adhesive to the back of another 6x6 and put it on top 4.Repeat the steps all around till it looks like a cross 5. Folding – start from the top and bring it down, then the bottom goes up to fold; right one then left .Decorate the front of the brag book 7.Cut Dream Street-Café Chic Straight up pp 5 ½ x 5 ½ and ink it ( optional) then glue it down 8.Cut template of bracket and trace it on Dream Street- Café chic Lounge pp and cut it out, ink it then glue it down on the left side of the brag book. 9. After that, cut the flowers from Dream Street- Café Chic Straighten up , ink it then glue it down 10. Grab your sticker alphabet and the word “My Family”

The True Meaning of Christmas......Part 1 of 9

Here is the whole story: Late one Christmas Eve, I sank back, tired but content, into my easy chair. The kids were in bed, the gifts were wrapped, the milk and cookies waited by the fireplace for Santa. As I sat back admiring the tree with its decorations, I couldn't help feeling that something important was missing. It wasn't long before the tiny twinkling tree lights lulled me to sleep. I don't know how long I slept, but all of a sudden I knew that I wasn't alone. I opened my eyes, and you can imagine my surprise when I saw Santa Claus himself standing next to my Christmas tree. He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot just as the poem described him, but he was not the "jolly old elf" of Christmas legend. The man who stood before me looked sad and disappointed, and there were tears in his eyes. "Santa, what's wrong?" I asked, "Why are you crying?" "It's the children," Santa replied sadly. Its been a week....

Since I posted and its been a hectic week for sure. I was sick then we had a scare with my dad ( he is great now) and working like crazy till today. I have the next few days off and I cant wait to relax, spend time with my family and scrap. I have been thinking a lot and I need to revamp my things I need to do and how to get it done. The Holidays is fast approaching and for me, which mean craft fairs , working extra hours at the bakery, scrap and spend quality time with family. I am stretching myself here and I am feeling it. I cant wait till some friends are coming over next week to crop with me. It will be a great Saturday!! I have a mini that I started at Faith Sisters for a 9 week challenge we are doing. I really love it and I cant wait till I finish it. You have to do with me and FS is just awesome. I will post the the album and the story this evening on the blog...right now I have laundry and kiddies to hang out wiht...Have a great day!

Getting Organized

I have been everywhere this weekend and nowhere at the same time...lol I am making a list of things to do online and conquering it all tomorrow on my day off. Its been hard on the family but we know she is with our Lord and together with her husband and son. I am trying to get in the swing of things this morning and for the weekend.
