My weight loss journey...still going each day.

I started Keto about 5 months ago and like any other programs, you have your ups and downs. This is not just a fab diet but a way of living. I needed to try something especially being gluten free too. After 4 months with Keto, exercise and changing my way of making food, I am down 30 lbs. I am not done yet and still going strong. I started this journey 5 years ago at 264 and when I hit 200 2 years ago, it felt great but then stopped. My weight would go up 5 lbs then I would lose 5 lbs but that was it. I tried to change a few things especially my exercise and nothing worked. 2013- 264 lbs Today, I am in control and loving the results. I will be posting some recipes, tips and my results through this journey to help others. We all need that support from others that even if we fall off the wagon, we can just get back on and start again. Its just life but when we get it. Its an amazing feeling! Book of Me....Still More of Me to Come!!!!

Since 2006, I started creating pages about me. It was not just about me but for my kids and future family members. I wanted them to know what was like my life here in the past, what was going on that moment and my feelings. Here are some layouts I did in the last few years. I still have more to do ...lol  This is what I love scrapbooking. It's never ending and you always can scrap something.

Hey God...Its Me and Its time!!!!

My journey started right after two events that happened in 2013 that changed me. The first one was the death of my father in August and trying to cope with that, a month right after that my husband's motorcycle accident which we almost lost him. I  felt a loss of hope and sank into a dark place. I stopped scrapbooking and creating sketches, ate more, no energy for anything and just there. Just going through the emotions each day and it was a blur. When my husband was trying to get better, his anxiety was getting worse since the motorcycle accident. He was diagnosed with PTSD. Symptoms can come out of the blue but this was gradual as he was getting better physically but mentally the fight was against him. He was re-experiencing the event, out bursts of anger, avoiding conversations about the accident, anxiety, feeling things that he couldn't explain , feeling a loss of hope and control. I realized that he needed me not just being there but to hold him by the hand, love him and...
