If you have not been over at Scrapbook News and Review Magazine then you need to go :) The 12 Days of Christmas is going on and I have another that got posted Day 8: Gift Card Container Gift Card Holder by Lucy Chesna Supplies Patterned Paper, Die- Cuts: My Mind's Eye; Ink: Ranger; Clear Container: Heidi Swapp; Other: Trim, book ring Supplies Clear Container Scraps of Double Sided Patterned Paper Glue Dots Trim Book Ring Ink (Optional) Step One : Cut two pieces of patterned paper to fit inside the package and the back. Step Two: Add glue dots to the trim and then wrap it around the smaller part of the package Step Three: Cut a strip of patterned paper and glue it down on the front of the package then add your die-cut on top. I added pop dots to create dimension to the flower. Step Four: Find the hole that was on top and cut it out with the exacto knife. Add the ring and trim for decoration and easy to add it to the tree. I just love Christmas and giving homemade goodies to my friends and family. Here is journal that I will be giving to my friend who loves journal her thoughts of the day. Check out DAY 3: Created a tag for the event HERE Joy Tag Joy by Lucy Chesna Supplies Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye; Die-Cut: My Mind's Eye; Bling: Kaiser Craft; Ink: Ranger; Die Template: Spellbinders Supplies : Cardstock Patterned Paper Ink Bling Layered Poinsettia Die Template Sentiment Adhesive Step One : Cut the cardstock to make your tag and cut a piece of patterned paper to cover it. Step Two: Cut 2 pieces each of the die template and ink them all Step Three: Layer the poinsettia and add the leaves to the back of the flower. Repeat the step for the next flower Step Four: Add the poinsettias onto the tag and finish it with adding bling and sentiment

December: AWDML 12 Days of Christmas

We are kicking off 12 Days of Christmas over A Walk Down Memory Lane Check out the AWDML Blog HERE each day! The designers will be posting some great gift ideas and projects to create. Also each day there will be sales going on through A Walk Down Memory Lane store. I love creating for the holidays but I love to add finishing touches to the outside of the gift. Presenting a pretty bag with the matching tag and card just makes the whole thing complete. Here is a bag, tag and card set I made: Merry Christmas by Lucy Chesna Supplies: My Minds Eye Believe Collection Bo Bunny Rub On Step by Step of the Bag: 1. Cut 4 1/4 x 6 patterned paper and adhere to the bag 2. Cut two strips of paper at 1/2 x 4 1/4 and 1×4 1/2 of patterned paper 3. Add a rubon on top of the strips of patterned paper 4. Glue down die cut on top and add rhinestones around the rubon Step by Step of the Card: 1. Cut cardstock 4 1/4×11 to make the card 2. Cut 5×4 of patterned paper and adhere to the car
