Tutorial - Altering Flowers Using UTEE

Time Stood Still by Lucy Chesna Supplies Patterned Paper or Cardstock Flowers Melting Pot UTEE Tools for the Melting Pot Non- Stick Mat Ink Versamark Scissors Dipping Stuff into UTEE I got my melting pot in February 2012 and started playing with punches, die cuts and stamps. All I can say that the addiction has continued to grow. I just love how the stuff turn out after dipping them in the UTEE. Pretty much anything can be dipped except for plastic which will melt in contact. I have a cartriges, die cuts and punches which are a great way to use with the melting pot. Step One: Turn the melting hot to UTEE , add the powder and cover. You will need to wait for 5 minutes for the UTEE to melt completely. Step Two: Add versamark to the tip and around the tool so its does not stick to the UTEE. Step Three: Dip the flower and press down gently. You do not have cover the top. Take out the flower and let it drain for second

I wanted them to know what was like my life here in the past, what was going on that moment and my feelings. Here are some layouts I did in the last few years. I still have more to do ...lol  This is what I love scrapbooking. It's never ending and you always can scrap something.

They Fought We Ride Layout

Its been over 3 year that I have not scrapped. I needed a push so I went over to Scrapbook.com and checked out the challenges. I saw one that caught my eye and I signed up. It was the Ugly Paper Challenge .  I received two 12x12 patterned paper and we had to use them both in our layout. Lets just say it was not easy but it spoke to me by doing what I love to do...get messy with mixed media products. I love my gesso, modeling paste, stencils and my paint. It was so much fun creating this page. The story behind these photos is on May 9th, 2015 we rode for our wounded vets. Over 5,000 motorcyclists rode 2 hours through 6 towns. It was an amazing experience doing the ride but meeting the vets that we helped.  More information about the Boston Wounded Vets Run...click HERE Thanks for Looking
