{31 Days- Day 7} Asking Our Kids

Kid Quizzes on your Scrapbooking Layouts   About 10 years ago, I bought a magazine by Simple Scrapbooks called “ Scrapbook Shortcuts with quizzes and questions ”. The magazine was filled with different quizzes to be used in your layout. I really liked the way you can use this to create an amazing layout about yourself, family, relationships and children. The one that I use the most is kid quizzes. I know that we create layouts on our children based on milestones, special events, what and who they love.  I started this when my son was 5 years old and I try to do this every few months because kids change their voice and personality each time you see them. It’s amazing how they change from when they were little till now. Creating a quiz style form is easy not just for us but for the children. It helps them answer the questions without have a blank stare looking at you. It’s also a great opportunity for them to write the answers in their own handwriting.  It’...

{31 Days- Day4} Lord Is it Warfare? Teach Me to Stand

Amazon I have this book for almost a year and never had the time to really concentrate on this till today. My husband had surgery on his back and I wanted to something to explore both the average and not so average studies regarding spiritual warfare. As I am looking through the book, its not a book that you can just read it but a concept to explore and discover the spiritual side for strength and wisdom. I am going to take 30 minutes each week reading the book, look over the scriptures and answer the questions. I am going to create a journal to help me in this process. I feel this will open my eyes of the warfare that is going on with me and around the world today. Chapter 1: Lord Is It Warfare?  Ephesians 6: 10-20... Lets see where it takes me! Thanks for stopping and happy reading

Happy New Year and my One Little Word

What is your one word that you will use this year? That one word that will change your life to a better tomorrow. Instead of doing resolutions for 2015, how you chose that one word that will become part of your life. I know there is no perfect word, there's only choices and paths and possibilities. The word will help you breath easier, to see clearer and to grow. Something is different about this new year, such that I’d like to give my own version of a resolution a try. Writ ing and creating art pieces has always brought me peace in some way. I will be getting back to it. Its been almost two years and I miss it. I pondered for a few days what word I will be using this year. I honestly believe the word chose me. As I wrote the word down it started living all around me. I am letting it speak to me and I make even let it lead me. There is so many possibilities and I am thrilled. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 For everything there is a season, and a time for every mat...
