Kid Quizzes on your Scrapbooking Layouts   About 10 years ago, I bought a magazine by Simple Scrapbooks called “ Scrapbook Shortcuts with quizzes and questions ”. The magazine was filled with different quizzes to be used in your layout. I really liked the way you can use this to create an amazing layout about yourself, family, relationships and children. The one that I use the most is kid quizzes. I know that we create layouts on our children based on milestones, special events, what and who they love.  I started this when my son was 5 years old and I try to do this every few months because kids change their voice and personality each time you see them. It’s amazing how they change from when they were little till now. Creating a quiz style form is easy not just for us but for the children. Cut 3 circles of each size; Fold each circle in half, then in half again, into quarters; Unfold 2. Using the creases in the paper, cut them (leaving 1 inch of the space in the middle of each circle) and you will have 8 petals 3. Cut off about 1/4 inch of paper where you made the slit. I went over to Scrapbook.com about 3 months and signed up my first challenge ( Ugly Pattern Paper Challenge ) to get back slowly into it again. Its really fun , the ladies are sweet and gets my juices going to scrap again. This months challenge I received these beauties  Here is what I did: I looked at both paper and use the brown to establish a foundations of what I was going to do with the papers in my layout. It was easy to use the baseball paper for flower die cuts and I am really how it came out. It was a lot of fun to do this and it only took about 20 minutes to come up with this. I do have a sketch for this and will get this posted in a day or two over my sketch blog and here. Thanks for looking

Mixed Media never entered my mind till I was asked to come over to Scrapbook News and Review Magazine (I miss the people and magazine so much). It was the owner Kate and the amazing people who helped her out in the magazine that brought me to the dark side...lol  I love playing with paints, textures  different kinds of mediums and putting it all together in my scrapbooking layouts and so much more.
