A Walk Down Memory Lane DT Call We are so excited to announce that we are looking for 4 designers for our September 2011 – February 2012 team!! The call is open from July 23 through August 5. We will be announcing the new design team on our blog and newsletter on August 8. So WHO are we looking for? We are looking for inspiring designers who are creative, ambitious and who can design with our products from the store. We are looking for designers who can display the following: - Open communication skills - Unique individual style - Individuals that can display flexibility, teamwork and cooperation - Ability to display and teach different techniques - Ability to create layouts from a basic to a more advanced skill level - Creativity in the use of our products to help promote A Walk Down Memory Lane - Ability to teach online classes and write up instructions, video tutorials are a plus! - Must be able to work within deadlines and under pressure -Copic Certified Designer

August 2011 Call Descriptions Deadline: July 26, 2011 Scrapbooking Strut Your Stuff Strut Your Stuff: In each issue of Scrapbook News and Review Magazine, we spotlight scrapbook pages of any style and genre. We're currently looking for pages in traditional paper scrapbooking that feature a clearly defined style such as Clean and Simple, Dark and Industrial, Eclectic and Freestyle, Romance and Pretty Chic, Whimsical or Fantasy, and others just ripe for the picking. Please Note: This is for paper scrapbookers only. There is a separate call for digital scrapbookers . Scrapboooking Camping/Great Outdoors: For this call, we’re looking for pages that feature camping and/or the great outdoors in any interpretation you would like, from trips to just exploring in nature. Color of the Month – Yellow: Projects can be of any theme or subject but you must use at least 80% of the “Color of the Month,” so think monochromatic color scheme with a couple other colors to balance it out.

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

I had to post this .................... Cinnamon Roll Pancakes Yield: 4 servings (4 pancakes) NOT ENOUGH FOR MY FAMILY...LOL Prep Time: 25 min Cook Time: 10 min An absolutely decadent morning treat... Ingredients: PANCAKES : 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk 1 Tablespoon canola oil 1 large egg, lightly beaten CINNAMON FILLING: 1/2 cup butter, melted 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon CREAM CHEESE GLAZE: 4 Tablespoons butter 2 ounces cream cheese 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions: 1. Prepare pancake batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk in milk, oil and egg, just until batter is moistened (a few small lumps are fine). 2. In a medium bowl, mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Scoop the filling into a small zip baggie and set aside. You don't want this to remain super-liquidy. It's best if it becomes a consistency

I have a good amount of them in my stash and maybe use them 20% of the time in my layouts and cards. I want to show you that you can use them in a lot of things and they look great on whatever you use it on. Stickles are a decorative glitter glue that come in many different colors and textures. You can write, paint, embellish, faux dots, outline, and so much more. There are three types of Stickles available: Stickles, Distress Stickles, and Glitz Stickles. They are acid free, easy to use and variety of colors available. It lets you apply as much or as little as you want. All you do is squeeze the bottle.
