Halloween Treat Tote
By Lucy Chesna

Supplies:
1 sheet 8 ½ x 11 black cardstock
1 piece 5/8 x 11 black cardstock
1 piece 2 x 6 pattern paper
1 piece 1 x 6 coordinating strip of paper
4 mini brads
favorite background stamp- I used Lost Coast Chickenwire Background www.lost-coast-designs.com/backgrounds.html
strong adhesive
hole punching tool
Inking pad (optional)
white embossing power
embossing stamp pad
heating gun

Instructions:
Make the Box
1.Take your black cardstock and with the 8 ½ side at top score paper 1 ¼ from each side
2.With 11” side at top score paper 4 ½ from each side
3.Cut short score lines

Embossing the Box
1.Take the embossing stamp pad and press firmly onto the stamp
2.Start stamping at the edge all the way to end on one side of the box
•You can do both sides if you like
•You need to overlap the stamp so there is no lines on it
3.Add your white embossing powder onto the embossed stamped image, Remove excess powder and use your heating gun to make the embossing powder form
4.Let it cool then you can repeat step 2 and 3 on the strip of black cardstock that will be the handle of the tote

Assembly of the box
1.Fold and adhere with your adhesive the box
2.For the handle, attach to the sides by punching two holes on each side; attach brads to secure
3.Embellish box with the two pattern papers as shown ( 2 x 6 and 1 x 6) and adhere them on the top part of the box; add your saying or any other embellish as desired

Here is the Finished Tote
