Origami Flower

Flower Tutorial
By Lucy Chesna

Supplies:
scraps of paper
bone folder
glue stick
pop dot (optional)
button

Instructions:
Cut up your scraps at the dimensions below
4 papers 1 1/2" x 3"
4 papers 1 1/2" x 2 1/2"
*The scraps can be the same color or different ones to give a pretty design and no cardstock. It will be hard to do the flower with it.

Fold all the papers in half , the long way

Open them up then fold all the corners in towards the middle. You need to slightly overlap so there is now gabs.Do this for all of the the scrap pieces.

Use glue and put on the sides before you fold those in, meeting in the middle.

Repeat the steps to make all 8 pieces the same

Assembling of the flower:
Glue them on top of each other shown below

And then glue the two layers on top of each other. I added a pop dot in the middle to give dimension for the flower then I glued down button to the center and then bend all the "pedals" up.

Now you can take the flower and add to a card, layout or project. Its fun and easy to do.
