The issue - a special double issue - will be published on May 20, 2012 and May 27, 2012 with inspiration and featured artists on May 20th and tutorials and technique articles on May 27th. You can read the May 2012 call descriptions by clicking on May Descriptions and then you can submit your artwork by clicking on the appropriate call. I can't believe my kids are 14 and 11 years old. My son will be heading to highschool and my daughter will be off to middle school. I am proud of them and nervous at the same time. Dahlia Fold Flower Adore by Lucy Chesna Supplies Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Pink Paislee; Letters: Heidi Swapp; Jillibean Soup; Ribbon: Pink Paislee; Swirl: Pink Paislee; Ink: Ranger, Colorbox; Other: Tissue paper I love creating flowers of paper to coordinate with my project that I am doing. It does not matter what size you create this flower, it's a great touch to anything that you do. Supplies: Circle or Scallop Punches Double sided patterned paper Adhesive Step One: Punch out 5 or 6 circles Step Two: Fold the patterned paper circle in half, open it and then fold the in half the other way. Step Three: Decide which side you want to be the main background. In the lower area of the circle, fold a small petal shape upward and then do it to the other side Step Four: Turn it over and fold the petal inward like a paper airplane. Repeat the oter side.
