Its the half way mark on my writing challenge that I started 15 days ago. I can't believe its been 9 years ago that I started the journey of blogging in 2006. Looking back , I changed not just as person but as an artist.  This challenge has really brought back to full circle of what I was missing and its great to be back! Thanks for stopping by and sharing!

{31 Days Challenge- Day 14th} Tip, Tricks, Tutorial...Oh My!

Flower Butterfly Tutorial I know we all have flowers in our stash especially Prima flowers. I know have 2 boxes full and still use them. I wanted to use the flowers to add not just a finishing touch to a card, layout or project but enhance them in a different way.  The 5 petal flowers work great for this project and it was easy to make them. Its easy like 1-2-3-4.  Four easy steps and you have these beautiful butterflies in your next project. All you need is flowers, wire, clear glue like Beacon 3 in 1, Fabric-Tac or hot glue. Step One: Trim off one of the petals on the flower Step Two: Cut a piece of wire (6 inches) and curl the sides down shown on the picture below. Step Three: Glue the wire to the back of the flower with glue (hot glue worked better for this) Step Four: Glue pearls or rhinestones in the middle of the flower to become your butterfly You are ready to use your beautiful butterflies on your next project Thanks ...

{31 Days Challenge- Day 13} No Sew Curtians

No Sew Curtains I was in Walmart last month checking out the curtain clearance section. I found a brown panel curtain for $5. It was big enough that I would be able to make two curtains for the downstairs game room. Its easy to make and in no time you will have curtains in any room of your house or apartment. I do sew but the machine is not working and I need to have curtains up before the party on the 24th so I planned making new sew curtains. What you need Heat-n-Bond Clear iron on adhesive Iron/Iron Board  Straight Pins Scissors Small face cloth The Heat-n-Bond comes in different sizes, weight and amount. I always have 2 different kinds of sizes and weight based on what I will be using it for. The  no-sew iron-on adhesive makes hemming easy without a needle or thread. It creates clean, secure hems in seconds with no sewing and is completely machine washable! Use with cotton poly blends, cotton, rayon, acrylic, linings and much more. Some of...

{31 Day Challenge- Day 9} My Camera Review

I am no expert but I love to take photos and experiment with my camera. My friend, the camera, and I have been together for 3 years and I am still learning new things to do with it. I am telling that learning HMTL was easier then figuring out how to use this thing in the beginning but as time went on it got easier.  I have a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and love it. It comes with two lenses (EFS 18-55 mm and EFS 73-300 mm with a lens hood). T he Canon T3i shares the excellent image quality. It offers the articulating LCD, remote flash control, and creative filters. With Full HD video support, fast auto focus, and good quality optics. The only I feel it does not do so well is in sport or fast motion shooting. It tends to be out of focus and overexposure in bright sunlight like the photo below (c) Copyright All Rights Reserved  Lucy Chesna Photography PROS Excellent image quality; Good grip; Full HD video recording; Swiveling LCD; Very fast auto focus; HDMI ...
