Scrapbook News and Review Magazine Happy Summer 2010 by Lucy Chesna Supplies : Cardstock-Bazzill; Pattern Paper-Ocotber Afternoon; Button-Button Galore; Ink-Colorbox; Tool-Dynco Label Maker; Other-Felt Trim Supplies Tag or create your own (mine is 6 1/3 x 3 1/8) Pattern paper to cover tag 2 inch square of pattern paper Trim or ribbin Rubons, alpha or anything to make your title for your tag Inking(optonal) Directions 1. Grab your pattern paper and cover your tag. Leave a 1/4 inch all around and ink it 2. Create your pinwheel*** and attache button 3. Add trim to make a stem for the pinwheel and attached the rest of the trim to the top of the tag. 4. Add your sentiment or title on your tag 5. They are having a contest going on called CAMP ROCK and each week you creat a layout, vote then get points for each challenge. When I got the email that I was chosen to be DT for my 1st digi stamp place, I was excited. I had 3 choices to chose from so I can get started and it was way too much fun with them. I am the kind of person that likes to experiment and really push myself in different levels in scrapbooking, card making and mixed media. Here is some stuff I made from Squigglefly Products I used from the store I Love You Daddy Moments with Dad Sentiments Hooty Who This one here I uploaded into my program that I use to create my skethes and made a digi layout with two of the images. Its one of those days that made me think that I need to revamp things in my life. I started with my blog and now to think what to do next..lol Like my new banner? I made it all by myself. It was fun to do.

We’re currently looking for pages in traditional paper scrapbooking that feature a clearly defined style such as Clean and Simple, Dark and Industrial, Eclectic and Freestyle, Romance and Pretty Chic, Whimsical or Fantasy, and others just ripe for the picking. Please submit at least three to five layouts that you feel best represents your work and explain in a few brief sentences what style you feel best describes your work. Please Note: This is for paper scrapbookers only...

Scrapbook Deals 4 U Ok...so who want's to play along with us here at SD4U in our own version of Camp Rock!!?? It is going to be a ton of fun...the Design Team is super Excited in the preparations for this Summer Camp...and we can't wait to get you all playing along!! All challenges will be issued on Fridays and due on Tuesdays at 6 pm PST...and ALL challenges will be based on an Artist or a specific song...with challenges to reflect the inspiration piece. The coolest thing is...we will not know who did what layout...because you will not load it into your own gallery yet...it will all be anonymous! Once the cut off time has arrived for entering your layout for that week's challenge, we will let you all know that challenge is over, and a poll will be up shortly.
