By Lucy Chesna

Supply List:
4- 12x12 sheets of cardstock
Various patterned paper to decorate
Adhesive
Scoring tool
Paper trimmer

To create the box
Step 1: Take 3 of the cardstock and cut as then as follows
·         Bottom layer stays at 12 x 12
·         2nd layer cut it to 11 x 11
·         3rd later cut it to 10 x 10

Step 2: Score the 3 pieces of cardstock as follows and each side has to be scored
·         12 x12 score 4 inches in all sides
·         11 x 11 score 3 ¾ in all sides
·         10 x 10 score at 3 ½ in all sides
Step 3: Cut the corners all 3 sheets. They will look like this.
Step 4: glue the middle panels and adhere then on top of each other. The larger is the bottom layer then the 11 x 11 and then the smaller one. You are ready to embellish the panels.

To create the lid of the box

Step 5: Cut the last piece to 8 x 8 and score it 2 inches all around
Step 6: Do not cut the corners but score it diagonal right to the other score line in the middle. It will look like this
Step 7: Fold the box like show here and glue it down. You are ready to embellish the lid of the box

Here is what it looks inside the box
