{31 Days Challenge- Day 14th} Tip, Tricks, Tutorial...Oh My!

Flower Butterfly Tutorial

I know we all have flowers in our stash especially Prima flowers. I know have 2 boxes full and still use them. I wanted to use the flowers to add not just a finishing touch to a card, layout or project but enhance them in a different way.

The 5 petal flowers work great for this project and it was easy to make them. Its easy like 1-2-3-4.

Four easy steps and you have these beautiful butterflies in your next project. All you need is flowers, wire, clear glue like Beacon 3 in 1, Fabric-Tac or hot glue.

Step One: Trim off one of the petals on the flower

Step Two: Cut a piece of wire (6 inches) and curl the sides down shown on the picture below.

Step Three: Glue the wire to the back of the flower with glue (hot glue worked better for this)

Step Four: Glue pearls or rhinestones in the middle of the flower to become your butterfly
You are ready to use your beautiful butterflies on your next project

Thanks for looking and sharing!
